INNOVATION : Our range of Smart-Handling solutions
In view of the increasing need for automation in factories and warehouses, in particular for large retailers, we have developed a range of Smart-Handling solutions.
Our aim in developing this range?
To make packed pallets compatible with handling by automated systems: AGVs, stacker cranes, and other automatic warehouse systems.
Our Smart-Handling solutions keep fork tunnels free, allowing the passage of the forks of automated forklift trucks and ensuring the barcodes on the pallets can be read.
Others essential advantages of keeping fork pockets unobstructed: no damage to the packaging during multiple load pick-ups, and easy passing of gauge control.
These innovative solutions are available on all Thimon machines, whatever the packaging technology:
- BandoFix for shrink hooding,
- Sock’n Fix for stretch hooding,
- Rope’n Fix for spiral wrapping.
These innovations allow shrink hooding in particular to regain its rightful place as a packaging solution of choice, since the BandoFix principle allows it to retain its long-acknowledged qualities, while no longer imposing any constraints on warehouse automation systems.
In addition, the use of very thin films and the recent developments on Thimon machines provide you with an extremely attractive combination of packaging quality / cost / protection of the product.
